This has seriously got to be the SLOWEST DD ever, I even had to leave wo my order today after waiting 10min long for an iced tea and sandwich, excuse being "it's change of shift". Ummmm...ok. All along Im watching the staff behind the counter socializing, talking w an obvious offcoming employee that was helping herself to an iced coffee in her plain clothes, is this even appropriate?! and there's certainly a lack of priorities, customer not being one. Whoever owns and runs this DD should really reevaluate their staff and their hiring. Such a shame bc I love DD, just not this one! To add, being out of items (this wednesday was ham) seems to be an ongoing problem after I look over others' reviews. Another problem for an owner/gm to maybe look into.

Just horrible. Slow service, followed by me driving home just to realize there was no cheese on my Bacon Egg and CHEESE sandwich (how that is even possible is beyond me). So I try to call and see what they plan on doing to fix the issue and of coarse NO ANSWER. Basically, if you are looking for a good quality breakfast with fast and accurate service...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Slowest dunkin I've ever been to. It doesn't matter what day or time I visit-- their employees are terrible with speed and usually are out of most things. If it wasn't for their specials, coupons and sweet tea lemonade, I'd go to Starbucks every time.

This is the worst Dunkin Donuts ever. The management is so poor that when you complain about waiting for slow service their only response is. Oh well or drive through its really backed up, or the inside is really backed up. That is just poor restaurant management. There is no reason why I had to sit and wait 6 minutes for someone to greet me at the drive through. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take 25 minutes fir you to make my iced coffee, not to mention I ordered it without sugar and these idiots made it however they wanted. If it hadn't taken 25 minutes in the first I would have gotten my money back but that probably would have been another 25 minutes... this DD just plain sucks

Went through drive through...bad idea. Could barely hear the person on the speaker. And from how they messed up our order, assuming they couldn't hear me as well. Asked for a small coffee with cream and sugar, an iced coffee no cream or sugar, and two chocolate glazed donuts. Small coffee was right but the iced had way too much sugar and we received two chocolate cake donuts lol. One of the workers came to the window and tried to give my dog a donut hole or something but she didn't want it. So the lady then threw it into my car so our dog could "eat it later." I didn't really make a fuss about it but my husband was like what the hell, who does that?! while we were driving away. Didn't notice wrong orders until we were already on the road. Yeah...will probably just go inside from now on if we go back.

It's close by, and it's coffee. The reason I come here more basically is because of the location. They never have the doughnut that I ask for (powered with chocolate inside) but they do have munchkins which I do get for my babes. Actually I take that back. Most of the time when I order munchkins I always get "hang on, let me check if I have any" Seriously? I come here between 7 - 10am I'm not coming here in the middle of the night.

This Dunkin Dounuts SUCKS!!!!!! The employees are horrible and the manager is even WORSE. They do not give you hash browns when you order a combo meal. They are slow and have never got my order right. Dont spend your money here. NEW MANAGEMENT is needed ASAP!

  • Peter S.

What is it with DD employees not knowing their own menu? I ordered a No. 1 Combo and the cashier asked me what size I wanted. I said "whatever size the menu price of $1.98 gets me." She said, "small" I double checked the menu and saw it said medium...so I corrected her. I know I sound bitchy but this exact same thing happened to me at the other DD on 4th St recently. Why don't they know the size of coffee their most popular combo comes with? Its printed on the wall behind them. ...also I asked for a cruller and a boston cream, but received a cruller and sour cream doughnut.

Really great experience just now at this location. Last time I was there (two nights ago) at around midnight there were only 4 types of donuts to offer, I was very disappointed considering this is a 24 hour joint. This time the guy at the drive thru at the same time asked what kind we were looking for and had every single one we requested! So refreshing! Now, I'm not sure what this guy's name is but he was wearing a puka shell necklace (if that helps). Anyways, much better the second time around and that guy rocks!

Everytime I order my iced coffee its mostly water. Numerous times I had to go inside and have them make a new one for me, with the same results. They also never get the order correct, I've had to turn around and go back as well. I do not go to this location anymore. I drive out of my way to the dd on 9th street. Its very disappointing being a regular dd customer. Step it up 4th street!

Slowest service. This is not a recommended location if you're in a hurry in the morning. The staff is not friendly and unwelcoming. And the quality at this location leaves a lot to be desired.

Well... My aunt and gramma went there and used there AARP card for a free donut with a purchase of a large or XL drink and the same guy both times said its with a coffee. So we went online and he's wrong , but he was like no it's with a coffee my coworkers are wrong. They don't know what there doing there. Some of there workers are great and some have attitudes. I went once at like 7am and they had like 5 flavors of donuts out .

Best Dunkin' Donuts I've been to! Period! After eating at Cafe Cibo the other day, I had a craving for donuts and have been meaning to try the new Croissant Donut and limited time Pumpkin Cheesecake donut. We went to the drive through and we didn't have any cash but James, the drive through guy we were talking to, was kind and said paying with credit card was fine even though it was just for a few donuts. We pulled around and shortly given the donuts. We ate the donuts in our car which we parked in the parking lot and I went in to get napkins. The Dunkin' Donuts appeared to be spotless inside and they had just finished mopping the floor. I must say, that I preferred the Pumpkin Cheesecake donut over the Croissant Donut, but I suggest you try the two for yourself. Let's not forget that this Dunkin' Donuts is open 24/7 and has free Wi-Fi. What more could you ask for?

Wow. I have been coming here regularly for a year, and the service has been getting consistently worse. I give it two stars, because the product is still generally the same great Dunkin Donuts product you get everywhere else. But don't ever hit the drive thru expecting quick, competent and courteous service. I don't like to think I'm an ugly person but eye contact and more words than the price of my order and "here" when giving it to me would be nice. Also, it is regular to arrive at the drive thru speaker and here nothing except "hold on" when you say hello after sitting there for a minute. This review is not based off of one bad experience but rather around 10 with repeated behaviors. I'm done with this location and will stick with Starbucks up the street as their quality of service has never faltered for me.

Just as @Pyra-Danny V. said, generally I would think there is not much point in reviewing a national chain restaurant such as Dunkin' Donuts. However, today I tried one of their DDSmart menu items, so I thought someone might be interested in what their quasi-healthy menu items are like. I got the DDSmart Egg White Turkey Sausage Flatbread Sandwich. When I first opened it I thought that they had accidentally given me the veggie flatbread sandwich, but if you look closely you will see bits of sausage in the egg white patty, which is also liberally flecked with something green...I'm thinking spinach. The sandwich also has cheddar cheese. I actually couldn't find this item on the DD nutritional information website, but I did find nutritionals for the item here: fatsecret.com/calories-n… . At 280 calories, I'd say that this is a good-sized breakfast sandwich and is pretty tasty. The flatbread seemed soft and fresh and the cheese and egg white/sausage patty were pretty good. My husband got the same thing and in his words: this breakfast sandwich is better than what you would get at McDonald's, but not as good as what you can get at Subway. If I were rating DD on their coffee, however, I would give it five stars. DD is definitely my favorite coffee.

Why only average, well thats the way the owner treats this place and his other location. like were doing him a favor when we go there. If you want to raise the bar here, first empower the management, second stop treating this place like you know better than all the experts, and third put the chocolate covered cake donuts back on the rack....Damn! how many times do your customers have to ask? My other "favorite" location listened, now they cant keep that tray from being EMPTY all the damn time. The place is clean, but too cheap to keep napkins for the customer, its the slowest DD i know of in town, and the layout for the drive-thru is "ridiculous".

This is a great location for us. We like to come here after early church services. When we stopped in Sunday around 11:00 we had a terrible experience. There was a sign on the door for a breakfast bagel which this store doesn't carry, they were out of croissants, hashbrowns, and the biscuit I finally got was rock hard. They were also out of a lot of their donuts too. All the table were dirty (one couple asked for a towel to clean off somewhere to sit.) The manager came out of the back only briefly and he didn't seem aware of how badly things were going. We love our Dunkin on 34th and haven't had problems with other St Pete locations- but this store definitely needs some changes.

Yes, a chain, but doing what chains do best.....predictable, standard quality, relatively low prices, quick service and convenience. Just stopped in to get some unique jelly and creme -filled donut holes favored by an older relative. Got what we expected, served efficiently and with courtesy. And teh donut holes were great (had to test personally for quality control)

Don't count on them getting your drive thru order right... Ever. Don't know why I keep Trying. And they will throw everything in the bag together unwrapped. Bagels on top of chocolate iced donuts are gross. Icing on everything but the donut. They need to bring in trainers for the entire staff. This place used to have amazing service when they first opened.

I'm not sure I could give any chain 5 stars. I gave three because it was so slow and there were no napkins in the dining area. They were absolutely slammed but I've worked in the fast food industry and I know it is possible to manage this better. Everyone was very friendly, service was good, clean restaurant, and FABULOUSLY FRESH donuts! So once I bit into my donut I have to admit I forgot how long it took to get my order in hand. It was SO good!!

The structure of this DD is pretty cool looking. It's modern and this DD promotes it's green awareness. I've had service issues several times here though. The staff seems pretty stressed and makes mistakes pretty frequently. The drive-thru line can be a mess also, with two different entrances converging to a single speaker. During peak hours, the drive-thru line will loop around the parking lot, blocking parking spots, so good luck if you happened to park and go inside. It's not the best DD I've visited, and it's far from the worst. The donuts (when I get the right one), are always pretty good. That matters most, right?

Fast friendly service, hooked me up with more mocha in my iced coffee than other locations have in the past. $2.02 for a small iced coffee is not bad at all, beats paying 6 bucks at Starbucks!

Normally I don't like to review chain restaurants, because they're all typically the same. But I feel this Dunkin Donuts is important. I went here about a month ago, I was back in FL visiting my hometown and noticed a brand new Dunkin Donuts. DD stands out because there used to be 3-5 in the entire Pinellas county region, now there's LOTS. It's catching on as Starbucks closes up shop since they're so expensive. This DD is different. After I moved to Massachusetts I became bombarded with DD on every corner, since it originated in MA. The people back in MA would not believe me when I say this DD is different. The cups are special recycled ones, the building style is modern and eco-friendly and outside they have a huge white/green dumpster where they compost their coffee grounds. I thought it was very interesting. Prices were also a bit cheaper than Massachusetts but I'm assuming this was due to taxes. It was just a shocker to see such an eco-friendly DD after all the ones up north where they hand you styrofoam cups that kill the environment.

This Dunkin' Donuts consistently has the best doughnuts/doughnut holes I've ever had. This is compared with other dunkin' donuts, alternate chains, and non-chains. I'm not sure what they do different, but it's something, and that something is good. Maybe they make each batch with love ... I don't know. This Dunkin' Donuts is also one of the worst managed establishments I've ever been to. It doesn't mater what time of the day you go, if you pick the drive-thru or the counter, which staff member is running the register, the service takes FOREVER. Even if it's a Saturday or Sunday and you have nothing to do, the time it takes to place and get your order requires a great deal of patience. This problem has existed since the inception of the store, and almost a year later (at the time of this review) it has yet to be improved upon. The staff is generally nice, the place is clean, and they recycle, all pluses in my book. If you have time, the goodness of a glazed doughnut from this place out weighs the sluggish service. My recommend order is sharing a 25 pack of glazed munchkins with some friends.

Something about this DD made me want to Yelp it... One - there's a special everyday of the week here. (do other DD's do this? NO!) and the best is Friday. I treat my professional butt here by buying an iced coffee (delicious of course) and getting TWO FREE DONUTS as the special. Two - the staff is very helpful... but you have to catch them first. They're constantly acting like ants who lost their queen. So far they've always been quick to reminding customers about the weekly specials. Three - only this DD has deals in the "America's Favorite Coupon Book" that can be found everywhere in St. Pete. Four - the building inside and outside is very modern, clean, and makes you want to study inside. Compare THAT to the rest of the St. Pete dump. Five - you want me to talk about the food? Umm, it's a freakin' chain. It tastes like all the other DD's. But it's the non-food stuff that make me wanna Yelp.

I love their coffee! I try not to order food here much since it's not the healthiest, but I can't resist a coffee. This location was incredibly nice and was quick. I got the iced coffee with coconut and it was amazing. Perfect choice after a 6 mile walk in the Florida heat.

This location is a joke. Every time I attempt to get something, there is a line full of cars and it takes 30 minutes to get through it. This time I sit there for 10 minutes before even being able to order. When I finally get to, I'm told that if I want to select the donuts for my dozen I have to come inside. That's an obnoxious policy. If the theory behind it is that it'll slow down your drive thru....you've already got that problem - find another way to solve that!

SLOWEST SERVICE E-V-E-R!!! The only reason I go is because I don't have a car & they're right on the corner. I stick with a toasted bagel with butter because I don't think even they can mess that up, right?
